Door To Door Fuller Brush Man Keeps Selling | Here & Now

Alfred Carl Fuller began what was to become Fuller Brush Company in
a basement shop in
Somerville, Massachusetts. In 1906, he moved to
Hartford, Connecticut and founded the company.    

The company began with door-to-door sales of brushes of various
sorts, including hairbrushes with a lifetime guarantee for which they
are famous.

In January of 2018, Galaxy Brush of Lakewood, New Jersey, purchased
the name of Fuller Brush, including all trademarks and patents. Galaxy
Brush, now doing business as Fuller Brush, also acquired the iconic
and very famous name brand and trademarks of
Stanley Home
Products
.

Brian Manion Dennehy (July 9, 1938 – April 15, 2020)


NEW YORK (AP) — Brian Dennehy, the burly actor who
started in films as a macho heavy and later in his career
won plaudits for his stage work in plays by William
Shakespeare, Anton Chekhov, Eugene O’Neill and Arthur
Miller, has died. According to the actor’s representatives,
Dennehy died Wednesday night of natural causes in New
Haven, Connecticut. He was 81.

On April 16, 1889, future Hollywood legend Charlie Chaplin
was born Charles Spencer Chaplin in London, England.

Chaplin, one of the most financially successful stars of
early Hollywood, was introduced to the stage when he
was five. The son of London music hall entertainers,
young Chaplin was watching a show starring his mother
when her voice cracked. He was quickly shuffled onto the
stage to finish the act.
