one single on both the US and UK charts and also re-entered the UK Singles
Chart in the 1960s and 1970s. It is ranked No. 158 on the Rolling Stone
magazine’s list of The 500 Greatest Songs of All Time.

David Letterman worked as a weatherman for AM radio station WNTS and
anchored on Indianapolis television station WLWI.

Although he registered for the draft during the Vietnam War, he did not fight
because he received a draft lottery number 346 (out of 366).

The song “Strangers In the Night” reached number one on both the Billboard
Hot 100 chart and the Easy Listening chart, it was the title song for Sinatra’s
1966 album “Strangers in the Night”, which became his most commercially
successful album. The song also reached number one on the UK Singles
Chart.

Sinatra’s recording won him the Grammy Award for Best Male Pop Vocal
Performance and the Grammy Award for Record of the Year, as well as a
Grammy Award for Best Arrangement Accompanying a Vocalist or
Instrumentalist for Ernie Freeman at the Grammy Awards of 1967.
