John William "Jack" McCloskey
(September 19, 1925 – June 1, 2017)

Jack McCloskey was a basketball player, coach 
and executive. He served as the head coach of
the Portland Trailblazers (1972-1974) and was
also general manager of the Detroit Pistons
and Minnesota Timberwolves.

Jefferson Finis Davis
(June 3, 1808 – December 6, 1889)

Jefferson Davis was President of the Confederate
States of America from its beginning in 1861 to its
collapse in 1865. His 1881 memoir The Rise and
Fall of the Confederate Government helped restore
his reputation after the war and he is now an icon
and symbol of pride for many Southerners.
