(AP) – Stephen Furst, who played naive fraternity pledge Flounder in the hit
1978 movie "Animal House," has died of complications from diabetes, his
family said Saturday. His son Nathan Furst said his father died Friday at his
home in Moorpark, California, north of Los Angeles

Singer-songwriter and producer Barry Manilow recorded "I Write
the Songs" and "Mandy". He went to the Julliard School while
working at CBS to help with tuition fees. He also wrote jingles
like that of the State Farm Insurance company.

Kate Smith was known as The First Lady of Radio, who is remembered

a radio, television, and recording career spanning five decades.
