Stephen Furst (Stephen Nelson Feuerstein)
(May 8, 1954 – June 16, 2017)

(AP) – Stephen Furst, who played naive fraternity pledge Flounder in the hit
1978 movie "Animal House," has died of complications from diabetes, his
family said Saturday. His son Nathan Furst said his father died Friday at his
home in Moorpark, California, north of Los Angeles

Amelia Flies Atlantic in 15 Hrs
Amelia Earhart became the first woman to fly across the Atlantic
Ocean as she completed a flight from Newfoundland to Wales on
this day in 1928. She received the U.S. distinguished flying cross
for the record.

He met George Harrison on his school bus as a child and he joined John

‘s skiffle group The Quarrymen when he was fifteen. After Harrison
joined the band as well, they changed their name to The Beatles.
