Jerry McCord Van Dyke (July 27, 1931 – January 5, 2018)
Jerry Van Dyke, comedian, actor and younger brother of Dick Van Dyke, died Friday afternoon at his Arkansas home at the age of 86.
Van Dyke’s wife, Shirley, confirmed her husband’s death. She said her husband’s
health began deteriorating after they were both involved in a car accident two years earlier. (Fox News)

On this day in 1994, figure skater Nancy Kerrigan was clubbed on
the right leg by an assailant at Cobo Arena in Detroit, MI. Four
men were later sentenced to prison for the attack, including
Tonya Harding’s ex-husband.
