DAVID CASSIDY IS DEAD AT 67

David Bruce Cassidy (April 12, 1950 – November 21, 2017)

(Fox News) – According to his publicist the "Partridge Family" star David Cassidy
died Tuesday after suffering liver and kidney failure.

Cassidy was admitted to a Fort Lauderdale, Fla. hospital Wednesday, though his
condition was not reported until this past Saturday. Many news outlets over
the weekend reported Cassidy was suffering from multiple organ failure.

Born into a show business family, Cassidy rocketed to stardom on ABC’s "The
Partridge Family," a sitcom about a widow (played by Cassidy’s real-life
stepmother Shirley Jones) and her five children who form a rock band and
tour the country. The cast also featured Susan Dey, later of "L.A. Law" fame,
as sibling Laurie Partridge and Danny Bonaduce as sibling Danny Partridge.

Robert Kennedy was a U.S. Senator from New York and Attorney General under
his brother John‘s administration who was assassinated in 1968 while he was
running for president. He spearheaded many of the civil rights initiatives that the
Kennedy Administration put forward.

Shortly before his 18th birthday, he enlisted in the Naval Reserve as an apprentice
seaman and later graduated from Harvard College and the University of Virginia
School of Law.

(Fox News)  – Charles Manson, the hippie cult leader who became the hypnotic-
eyed face of evil across America after orchestrating the gruesome murders of
pregnant actress Sharon Tate and six others in Los Angeles during the summer
of 1969, died Sunday after nearly a half-century in prison.

The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation said in a statement
Manson died of natural causes at 8:13 p.m. Sunday at Kern County hospital,

Lonnie Melvin "Mel" Tillis
(August 8, 1932 – November 19, 2017)

(Fox News) – Country music singer Mel Tillis, whose six-decade career included
hits such as “I Ain’t Never” and “Coca Cola Cowboy,” died today (Sunday).   

His publicist said Tillis passed away at Munroe Regional Medical Center in Ocala,
Fla. He was previously inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame, Nashville
Songwriters Hall of Fame and Grand Ole Opry. Former President Barack Obama
awarded Tillis the National Medal of Arts in 2012 (below).
