SINGER WILL RETIRE LATE THIS YEAR
Kenneth Ray Rogers will be 78 years old on August 21.
Singer Kenny Rogers has announced he is retiring after his current 200-date
tour. He admitted it will be difficult to hold back tears when he and Dolly Parton
perform together for the last time this fall. Rogers said he wants to spend more
time with his wife and twin boys.

as frontman of The Rolling Stones. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll
Hall of Fame with the Stones in 1989. He met future Rolling Stones guitarist
Keith Richards in primary school. He initially intended on going into politics
or economics. In 2003, he was knighted.

magazine over twenty times since 1968.
